Disneyland/California Adventure!

Monday, June 15

We made it out of the Dittman's and on our way by about 7am (which, after our previous evening, was an incredible feat). We decided to hit Disneyland for the morning portion of the day and California Adventure for the afternoon/evening.
Disney.was.crowded. Holy crap. Dumbo, Snow White, and Casey Jones rides in Fantasy Land were easy peasy, short lines and it was still nice and cloudy. By the time we made it to Pirate's Island the sun was blaring and the crowds were out of control. We decided to bail on Dizz a little earlier than expected and scoot across to C.A.
The girls had both passed out in their strollers between the two parks so Kier and I enjoyed a quiet lunch and some much needed caffeine.
The rest of the day was epic. Just EPIC. The girls had the time of their lives; Disney Junior Live, Ariel's Adventure, Ferris Wheel, Bumper Cars, Pixar Parade, and on and on... it was so wonderful to see the excitement on their faces!
We hit the road around 8pm and made our way to Cajon Pass by about 10pm and spent the night at a surpringly nice Best Western.
Overall I'd say it was one heck of a way to spend our last official day in Southern California!
